Positive vibes and feedback were the overflowing feelings expressed to Jumpers and Jazz in July (JJJ) organisers before, during and after the final weekend to July 26, of the 10-day event.
When our newspaper caught up with some in the army of volunteers and witnessed the enjoyment of thousands of visitors, it was easy to understand why JJJ's Bette Bonney in particular was equally thrilled.

"It was a very positive vibe," she told us. "People said thank you themselves and so many events were huge - the yarnbombing, the artisan precinct, the twilight jazz and blues, the Australian Army Big Band, the markets...
"We thank the volunteers and the sponsors ... we couldn't do it without them. It was a brilliant vibe."
