Campdrafting Champion of Champions
Warwick Rodeo Campdraft win
Ken Boulton made his trip from Stradbroke in Victoria worthwhile when he won the Wright Pastoral/Rose City Premium Meats Champion of Champions Campdraft at the Warwick Rodeo last weekend.
Boulton has been coming to campdraft in Warwick for 39 years and said he had met some wonderful people in the sport.
“I have had a lot of great campdrafting weekends and the Champion of Champions is always a great spectacle as each horse has to have won three open drafts,” he said.
“It was a great final.”
He was second in the Warwick Gold Cup and won the Barnes Trophy for competition across the Warwick Gold Cup and Ascot Cattle Canning Downs Campdraft.”
Goomburra win
Goomburra campdrafter Sam Campbell has won the 2025 Frasers Livestock Transport Stallion Draft at the Warwick Rodeo saying, “It was amazing to win."
Frasers are one of the longest-running sponsors of the rodeo campdrafting.
Warwick Fraser said the Warwick Campdraft and Rodeo “is Warwick”.
“You wouldn’t be anywhere else in the last week of October,” he said.
“We transport 25,000 to 30,000 livestock each week and had 80 staff at the showgrounds to check out the facilities.”
