Over the October long weekend, Tenterfield came alive with the flavours, friendships and fine produce that define our region. The inaugural Tenterfield Spring Food and Wine Festival, a Tenterfield Chamber of Tourism, Industry and Business initiative, brought together more than 400 guests across two signature events: the Wild Dining Degustation at Glenrock Gardens on Saturday and the Food and Wine Expo at the Memorial Hall on Sunday.

The Tenterfield Spring Food and Wine Festival was conceived and delivered by the Tenterfield Chamber of Tourism, Industry and Business as a way to spotlight our region’s strengths and connect producers directly with customers. By aligning with the Peter Allen Festival over the long weekend, the Chamber helped create a destination experience that draws visitors from across the New England High Country and beyond. The strong turnout, with more than 400 people attending across both events, signals clear community appetite for more occasions that celebrate what we grow, make and do best here.

As the blooms fade and the tables are packed away, the message from this weekend is simple: when Tenterfield rallies around its local growers, producers and farmers, everyone benefits. The Chamber’s initiative has laid a strong foundation, and with continued support from residents, visitors and businesses, the Spring Food and Wine Festival can become a signature event on our regional calendar.
